The Bible is our sufficient rule of faith and conduct. This Declaration of truths
fundamentals has the sole purpose of being the basis of communion between us (vg, that
let us all speak the same thing, 1 Corinthians 1:10; Acts 2:42). The phraseology used
in this statement is neither inspired nor indisputable, but the truth presented is
considered essential for a complete gospel ministry. It is not stated that this
statement contains all biblical truth, only it encompasses our need regarding
these fundamental doctrines.

The Inspiration of the Scriptures
The Scriptures, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, are verbally
inspired by God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible and unappealable rule of
faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15 - 17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).
